It was brought into Syria by Hazrat Abu Abd ar-Rahman Jaziri who found it in Jazirah, Iraq after his return from pilgrimage in 1381 AH/1962 CE. He began publishing them during the period 1970-1975 CE. As per Dr. Abdullah Jairazbhoy, the present edition is most probably of his publication.
